I feel sad for u Namit :'( pls shift to Mumbai u get 5-6 local ISPs all cheap and 25-50 Mbps with 7-8 ping :'(

My father is posted in delhi actually but he is there not for a fixed time.So, I can't go there.I have to live here until my dad is there, when he will be unattached from there we will go to midnapur campus.So, actually shifting to other places is not in my hand.Should I upgrade my plan to 950Rs? But will that change the ping o.o? Thanks for helping !

I don't think changing the plan will even give you a single fck.
I am too a multiplayer gaming freak (battlefield, if you would like to know) , I play on 250 ping servers from EU. You may try those handful of indian cs servers. Nothing you could really do. Just get used to hing pings and shoot bullets in front of enemy, so server would actually register a hit
Being a gamer in india is very difficult .....fcked up internet, costly gpu's, getting digital game downloads, and yeah, some people here consider "gaming" as a thing of kids and would say you, ' stop playing games, your are grown up now' loldafuq

It really sucks man, I am killed before I shoot.People having lower ping is having a greater advantage.But as I can remember some days ago I got like less 200 ping and it reached to 100. So, I bet someone is increasing it on any purpose.Yes, I agree with you, sh*t internet, costly gpu's and more.I will try my IDEA 2g or 3g today with my game.First of all I will check my daily usage and then I will buy IDEA's suitable plan for me.

See my latency, My name is Mr. Nub in the table.My modem got restarted itself and then getting this ping now restarted again and now touching to 990ms. :x don't know what is going on.

Good. You have discovered the honey from the pot.
Now here comes the problem. Keep note of this IP (particularly this!), and you will have to reconnect your internet several times henceforth to get a similar looking IP every 24 hours. This way, your pings will remain similar until and unless BSNL screws something again. It's because this particular (gateway) is less crowded and better efficiently routed for some weird reason.
Here's a sample gateway which I have been monitoring for over a month. From the time it was "very good" to the time it is "very poor" now. See the changes yourself.

Note: The red lines are downtimes of the gateway, not internet connection. The monitoring station is located at Paris.

Its after another restart of modem.
Previously my IP was 117.201.172.1X now its 117.197.60.XX.

Now I am going to restart IP until I get something lke 117.201.....
