It seem that IOL is out of business. According to BSNL, bangalore they are trying out with new provider. BSNL has sent a letter to IOL in this regard as they too could not get connected to IOL over phone. This is second time over the period of 3 months the IOL went underground by not answering phone.

IOL is realy slow in doing things.. hopefully the new provider will get the promised features out soon..

oh really:cry:..i was wasting my time here checking and fiddling with the settings...hope the new provider comes to play soon:)

CORRECT. I was getting the channels off and on. What happens to our initial payment. Will it be refunded?

I must let you know this..I did call the IOL broadband at their customer care number 1800 345 0111....they still maintain that no such withdrawal of service as such...and say that there is some major breakdown/problem in that area of office and so they are unable to reach the bangalore offices..but the problem will be addressed soon i believe....

I have not been getting IPTV for the last 6 days, a day between it was ok. Repeated trying to contact them - said the number is temporarily disconnected. Managed to reach the line once, the security attended the call and said no one is in office and that he'll ask them to call back. None since, and the phone has not been reachable.

I have been trying to reach them on that 1 800 number and it continues to say your approximate wait time is 3 minutes and it kept saying that for over 15 mins, when I disconnected the speaker phone ...

Anyone getting some authoritative information, please keep posted with source of information.

"continues to say your approximate wait time is 3 minutes and it kept saying that for over 15 mins" :D :D :D.....Nice point pmadhan... I just checked now and it seems to be working friends....do check

That is total big big lie.

According to BSNL -M/s Smitha – 26636999 and Mr RK Verma DGM - 22863322/22931333, they are in the process finding viability with one new provider probably "SmartDGVision". And BSNL had already issued a notice/letter to IOL in this regard. BSNL too fed up with hide and seek game with IOL.

If my information is correct the IOL facing sever recession problem and could not even pay their telephone bills. That is the reason all the land lines
Level1-Board - 25809990,L2 - 9449874906,L3 – 22188700 are disconnected.

However BIG may be the breakdown problem in this electronic age it should not take weeks leave alone days.

IOL deserved to be kicked off. Remember it has been year+ since it had been introduced. If they could not stabilize by now they can NEVER do it.

If things are not going according to plan BSNL promises to REPAY THE INSTALLATION CHARGES
