BSNL New User: Connection Troubles

1. Selected only GDMT this time, result:

2. client tr069 was enabled, disabled it and rebooted.

Result: Internet not working still.
 
Check access control page . all WAN options checked.What is the Diagnostics page report now?I will give a default gateway. try this in modem From Device status page. LAN IP Address: 192.168.1.1 MAC Address: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxDefault Gateway: 59.92.0.1 Primary DNS Server: 208.67.220.220 Secondary DNS Server: 208.67.222.222Still "no go" call 1500. could be Password is blocked.

Hey how do I input the details you have given me. Please help,

LAN IP Address: 192.168.1.1 -->Where in LAN config page? (Do we still keep DHCP enabled?)
MAC Address: 00-08-5C-D0-B1-99 --> Clueless , Where do i put this?
Default Gateway: 59.92.0.1 --> Clueless, where do i put this?
Primary DNS Server: 208.67.220.220 --> IN DNS page, right?
Secondary DNS Server: 208.67.222.222--> In DNS page, right?

Access control has all options enabled.

A comment on password being blocked: I am able to check my bsnl email (mail.bsnl.in).Still a possibility that password could be blocked?
 
@superprashBridged mode - Not working. Dialer gives 678 error. However status in Router page come as 'up'.@essbebeI have the LAN and DSN settings exactly the same as your screen shots. Gateway can not be set as you have mentioned, I also tried that.You helped me a lot, although we could not make it work :(-sjeet@superprashWhats a DSL/INTERNET LED.I have four in beetel router. select Default for Netbios if disabled.

If connected DATA LED will blink when active. You are almost connected !!!

This was when i was trying bridged mode (as suggested by superprash).
In Device status did you get Ip 59.xx.xx.xx ? -- NO I did not get the IP.

Checked , its already set to default. The data led is still dead.

Result: Internet Not working (both bridged and PPPoE)

Status: Internet still down

UPDATE: BSNL guy came and checked and as expected told line is good and no problem from our side. Then on pushing more said 'there might be a problem at bsnl end'. He came with following:

" There is a physical 'port' dedicated to each phone line from broadband, the port is in bsnl exchange. This port must have some problem in case of your line. The port will be changed and then we will see."

God knows what he meant and how much meaning it holds. I can just sit and pray.
