6000? Are they planning to give 4G in only a few cities? 6000 BTS is like 10% of the required infrastructure for pan India coverage of semi-decent 4G in the range of 10-30 Mbps.

I am keeping my hopes tempered for the August launch. Only consider it launched when it is actually launched.

Did BSNL remove some of the recharges from their lists? I'm not able to find 106 plan which i used to keep one number active.

Yes. They've updated their plans. They've also changed the rules of auto debit of balance to keep number active. Now you cannot make outgoing calls once your plan expires. Then after a day of plan expiry, BSNL automatically cuts ₹2 for two days of validity extension, giving you a day of outgoing calls before the cycle repeats. Incoming calls are unaffected till you completely run out of balance.

Even BSNL started following the likes of Airtel and Jio. Never expected this for the service they are providing.
It seems to be a costly affair to keep multiple mobile numbers from now on. Need to find a way to dispose of numbers.

Thanks for the information. Can you also let me know where i can find all the BSNL plans and STVs. The 3rd party wallet apps don't seem to be having a complete list.
