Why you want excitel fiber? Airtel fiber not available?

@Aakash Malhotra u can try another route once ur package expires. Apply for new connection, they don't care for old customers but for new customers sales person will take extra leap. Even u can hope for ₹500 installation to be waived off

Agree with @opomiyulen . The LCO sales guy in my area has also told me to recharge with only one month plan once it expires. He said new connection will be preferred to be given once excitel fiber launches.

How is the ₹2000 ONU?
Which company is it of Syrotech or Richerlink?
And though gigabit, is it capable of providing symmetric stable 300 Mbps?

I have a Uniway ONU, seems pretty good to me. Haven't faced any disconnection and doesn't heat up too much also

I subscribed to Excitel Broadband on 1st of November 2020 and paid Rs. 6,401/- for the 100 Mbps realtime plan for 1 year, I was promised a router which I never received to-date and within 8 days my internet service stopped, it's 6 days and to date it hasn't resumed, despite following up with the head office and local office and the customer service via app and their phone number 040–33447788 and their toll-free number 1800 200 2273, I am yet to receive any response for getting my issue resolved, when I finally followed up with the lineman who installed the subscription, I was told the cable that comes from the other side of the road has snapped and I will have to pay to get it fixed, the ticket number given was #649783 and the lineman who asked me for money was from Smart broadband so it seems Excitel isn't really providing service, they have outsourced their services to 3rd party providers, it's advisable to stay clear of such dubious ISPs and it's not as if I live in the suburbs, I live in downtown and my house is on the main road. Even in the 8 days that I had service the internet service disrupted for about 4 hours on an average

Never pay for long term plans without testing the service. This is applicable for any isp and even other services.
