lol. xenforo does not provide their own solution. vbulletin did. though their app was not exactly worth the price they were charging for it. and i don't think there is any other tool that works. someone is offering a makeshift app solution on xenforo forum for a low price. but they basically wrap the website around an app that you can install on the phone. some app like features are available like notifications and native sharing. but nothing that gives you a proper app like experience. i can opt for paid plan on tapatalk and probably ignore a lot of the nuisance that they force on the free tier users but the shady practices force me to not go there. i have been looking for a solution where mobile users can get a bare bones theme so that it loads fast but cannot find anything as such. there is not even an official way of loading a different theme for mobile users so that's another issue.

the only other option is to hire a permanent developer who codes an app specifically for your forum. like bigger forums like xda do i guess. or outsource it to some company. plus i hate the idea of having a dedicated app for the forum. forcing a full independent download. dth forum might think they are worthy of that status. i don't lol.

lol. as i mentioned above, they are using tapatalk's paid solution. tapatalk develops and uploads their app on google play and Apple app store. it is essentially the same tapatalk app but locked to one specific forum with some customizations. i can get it for usd 10 per month. i don't intend to. simply because i don't trust tapatalk.

btw, i added a new theme and enabled it for you. free of ads and should be fast loading on mobile devices this is the best i can think of right now. if the settings are correct, anyone should be able to turn it on from the regulars group (more than a few posts i think).
