i disconnected my bsnl fiber last month on 22nd.
was under the impression that whatever partial bill may be generated will be adjusted against my safety deposit.
i have confirmed with bsnl office that my deposit is 500inr.
the bill generated is of 432inr.
Will i have to pay this for complete disconnection, because i would rather get this adjusted and not deal with the safety deposit refund .
Thanks

I think you need to pay it and then wait for refund from BSNL (which may take upto 60 days) but talk to BSNL once so that you know how their refund process works nowadays.

Pay the Bill. Do not avoid paying. This will incur penalties for late/no payment of dues.
As for the refund, BSNL delays it indiscriminately.
Honestly, the worst you can do is lose 432+500 = 932 Rupees.
You can get the refund, but BSNL won't make it any easy or hasten the process.
