Get 2mbps Download Speed on MTNL Broadband Freedom 800 Plan

got them to increase as was not getting full 2 mbps at my end. had to pursue my case for a month and a half before they took notice.. but glad they did it.
at my end got a new wire direct from pole to router and got a good quality router modem(Belkin playmax hd) cos didn't wanna have separate devices or trust modems from mtnl... have been working fine since almost over 2yrs now.. i still use g. dmt modulation as connection is always stable with that in my case

Thanks for responding. Ive been thinking of taking it up with them but never really got around it seeing as some of the other members on here have had no success.

no harm in giving it a shot..you never know as my case in point..guess being polite persistent and patient helped in my case.generally the local complaint handler has knowledge about whose door to knock regarding the case so that could be a good place to start..choose phone n mail route as it'll be lot less frustrating..good luck!

ok so as other members i don't get bump at 9pm and sometimes i am able get it whereas the thing driving me crazy is that one of my friend has the same plan (Freedom 800) and he gets bumps even in the afternoon

Time 09:20pm. speed increased.

I am trying for 2 days, nothing happens.
I reset the router many times, entered the DSL information, saved and restarted it. And the slower speed again.
I think you are getting high speed because of some local exchange problem.
