I also cant accept TS as an DTH as it fails to satisfy south cust,so dont blabber something i think SD is the only DTH to provide a package for 75.RS/- b'coz of SD all DTH providers changed their base-pack pricing :cool2:
SD provides excellent channels at just Rs.75/-
Whereas TS offers mostly waste channels for Rs.125/-

Most of the channels that sun provides as a part of their basic package(Rs.75/-) can only be obtained as an add-on in TS.
1. NDTV GoodTimes
2. Bindass Movies
3. 9x
4. UTV Movies
5. Real TV
6. UTV World Movies
7. UTV Business News
8. NDTV Imagine
9. E24
and the following channels are not even add-on in TS
10. Fox Channel
11. Fox Crime
12. Baby TV
13. WB (Warner Brother)
All the above channels + lot of other south indian language channels + other hindi channels(Not listed) at just Rs.75 in SD
But What TS provide for Rs.125/- is unacceptable.

So there is no point in comparing TS with the Mighty SD

well the thing with SD is tht although its cheaper than most other DTH , it has still not been able to gain a prominent place in DTH when compared to Dish, tata or Airtel coz its service is not upto mark.. quality and service are of importance aswell.. where it does not lack much in quality .. it lacks greatly in service ..
As far as viewing quality is concerned every DTH is more or less the same.. there are 3 areas where they differ mainly..1. channels 2. customer service 3. exclusive services.. as far as channels are concerned one should opt for according to ones choice .. while the base pack seems apt for you .. one might wanna pay a lil more and also avail other services like the movies and Active services.. tht differs from person to person ..customer service is important too.. once u invest some kinda money into a product u'd like to have a guarantee tht in case u have an issue it will be fixed..

Sun direct has 3.1 million compared to 3.6 TS, 1.9 Big tv and just .5 Airtel. SD launched much later after dish tv and ts. but still they are going to surpass ts in few months. but you are still telling that it doesn't have a prominent place in dth.

yes,i agree SD are doing great job,they have made even village person to go for DTH with their packages.

Most of the village households in Baramati, Sangli and Karad areas had DD DTH, long before Sun DTH entered the scene.

yes,that is why sundth has now got more customers,bcoz most of those dd viewers are now taking sundth,TS didnt put any effect on them until sundth launched.
