Not sure. I can't recall whether the Nexus S was first of the line to receive the 4.2.2. There must be some roadmap regarding which handsets get the updates first. 4 was the first one to ship with 4.2 but later add-ons updates were given first to Gnex if I remember it right.

Nexus S got killed at 4.1.2 itself !!

Although can't seem to understand why they stopped at 4.1.2? What's so big in 4.2, the S can't handle?

They'd know better .. maybe the firmware size was getting too big ??
