I have the same issue as well. With the Keep awake during sleep set to always, I have to continually stop and restart wifi to get signal. After reading these posts, I switched it to never and haven't had an issue since yesterday morning. Thanks!

Yep. There are two different Paytm apps.



Working fine with always.

I have no idea why Google installed the older version during activation process and recovery from backup!

Your mobile signal is weak. When you loose signal and it comes back, mobile data is turned on for a few seconds, wifi is connected all the time when this happens. This is why you are getting pop ups.
So this happens because you loose mobile signal and not because you loose wifi signal
