Hard drive costs - what are they like now

Are you looking for a internal or External HDD ? Check ebay/theitbazaar/flipkart/letsbuy to compare prices, I would go with 2 x 1TB if the stored data is important, as bigger the HDD capacity, bigger is the Damage in case of failure.HDD do crash and those externals HDD would have more chances of failing if you move them a lot.

Guys, the warranty period for Hard disk are gonna come down for Internal hard disk.Seagate is planning to reduce warranty period for 5 years to 1 yearEven WD also planning from 5 yrs to 3 yrs period
