I understand that your sales guy will bring a printout with him to be signed by customer. Otherwise a lot of customers may not have printers at home.
There is a tick-box on the subscription form which is basically like "I will print this myself" or "Print for me", because each subscription that is generated contains a unique serial number and barcode.
I assume there will be space for pasting photograph of the customer on the form because you are supposed to keep a photograph of the customer with you?
Correct.
Okay I mean yes the T&C with a fixed period. No chage during said period to be affected to user(good or bad). Basically like uptime and all that SLA thing for business but diluted for a person. I WOULD like to have ot in jiffy.
We can't really do that because the T&C also has to take in to account changes in regulations or law which can occur at any time.
The way things are moving I would also like a clause about delay of services. So if I m late for payment charge me interest if company is delaying charges I Will have right to charge you as well.
Being that most of the plans are prepaid, this isn't really an issue. If you don't pay, it stops working. That clause is there more for "ass covering" than anything else.
Also, I presume you mean for refunds or something like that (where you'd have the right to charge us interest), because I can't think of any way that this could really apply.
MG I would like to ask you how you r planning to give a connection.
I mean when a customer fills his every details in ur website for a new connection. Would sales guys visit the house n make all formalities completed? And then finally Tech team would Go?
Or as u said we must fill details n take a print out n tech team will visit n make all formalities completed and give connection right away?
How are you going to handle this?
Sales guys are sales guys and technicians are technicians. They're equipped with different sets of tools and you should never pay the technicians or anyone who can't issue you with an electronic receipt immediately.
It's done in two parts and timeline will depend on how "ready" your address is.
Because we are trying to (as much as possible) use pre-terminated cables and in addition, they should be installed properly, which involves attaching some pvc pipes to the walls or ceilings or whatever and threading the fibers through them until your house, rather than just draping the cables from the terrace down the side of the building and all over the place.
If your building is serviced then they should be able to get you connected same day in many cases - the sales guys will need to inform the techs if there is anything special that needs to be done to complete the installation and how far away your apartment is from the splitter so that they know how much cable/piping/etc to bring. Once that information is made available to the techs, someone would show up with a pretty little box containing a shiny new modem and the necessary cables to reach from your place to the splitter. Of course, same day won't always be possible, in which case it may be next working day.
If your area is serviced but the building itself isn't, then the sales guys would come as quickly as possible and complete those formalities, then assuming the society has given the go-ahead, the technicians would come and get the main fiber and a splitter installed, and once that is tested and working, someone would show up with the modem and cables. In this case, the worst-case scenario should be 14 days from paperwork etc to completed installation, and your account would only be charged once your modem registers on the network.
In some societies we may even pre-terminate fiber in every apartment (most likely this would happen for customers living in newly built places where we have collaborated with the builders) which would mean that all we need to do is literally plug in the modem and turn it on.
