[help] Spectra Ping / Traceroute results to Singapore

@varkey in support ticket i raised at 3 AM after 3 hours of link down they quoted it as "Link Down-Mass Outage" and said services should be back up by 8:00 PM !

I see, well I'm not in Bangalore this week so it's alright for me.

Last health check ping was at 12:25 AM

The last 2 weeks or so, the number of downtimes have increased before that it was quite stable with zero downtime.

this is pretty much the first proper downtime i faced after switching to spectra and its a big one

It's back up, so down for about 7 hrs 15 min.

i just got it back too. Assigned to 216.185.103.X love the ping 44 ms to singapore

Also Speeds upto 600 mbps to singapore yesss

Interesting, I've never got an IP outside of the 180.151.x.x series. Or you mean the pings to that IP address? It's a Singapore IP address - 216.185.103.X

Again down Got the below message at 12:04 PM, but net is down since 10:22 AM.

Hi! You might be experiencing some service disruption. Our team is working on resolution. ETR is 1600 hours. Team Spectra.

^ Apparently it's resolved (they sent an SMS, but it's still down for me) unless there is no power at my house. Which reminds me, I need to setup the Jio backup WAN properly.

Finally came only at 6:30 PM or so. There was power so it was something else.

@varkey @The_PC_Guy went down a bunch of times from the SMS I got but was ahem too saturated with ISPs to bother I got Airtel to replace Spectra and frankly that VDSL line puts this FTTH to shame.

It has never gone down so often in the space of 3-5 days before.
