1. Never call 18004241600 for connection purpose.
2. Visit your telephone exchange and submit your application personally.
3. Get a receipt for future purpose.
4. If you don't get your connection within an week contact the Commercial Officer and D.E./S.D.E. (Broadband) at your exchange personally .Never ask frontdesk staffs anything, they know nothing except money receiving and complaint lodging.Make habbit to visit the officers or talk to them in any problem rather complaining to frontdesk staffs.
5. Do you have an
ADSL Modem? If so no need to buy or pay installation deposit.
6. If you have already a B-phone then you won't have to pay anything during applying for connection.Otherwise you have to pay Rs. 500/-(non-refundable) .
7. All charges will be adjusted in next bill for your B-phone.It includes security deposit (one month rental of your BB Plan)+your rental of BB for the first month+security deposit for new B-Phone (Rs 1000/-)+rental for B-phone of those days between installation of B-phone and introduction of BB connection.
Addition:
If you want to apply for BB against existing telephone then your telephone will be converted under combo plan.
You will get a n username and password to connect to broadband and 14 digit portal ID and password to view your usage.
