Basically...
Lady got 200 rupee worth of stuff. Plus 800 cash.
Seller lost 200 rupees of stuff, 800 rupees of cash, 1000 rupees of cash but retained 200 rupees from the change.

My way of looking at it. Since the shop keeper is selling goods at zero margin; any profit made by the lady would be his loss. We can ignore the other shop keeper, because he gets his money back. He gives 1000 to the dude and then takes 1000 back. No profit/loss here.Now, profit made by the lady = 800 cash + 200 goodsThus total loss = 1000.I guess
