How to check BSNL Broadband Account Usage?

the mail which you got is an automated message. I get the same kind of message from portal.bsnl.in !

As i mentioned, when they change id from dataone to bsnl, they are having huge problems in email ids.. You will be using the email id for years. Suddenly, you are getting an email id which is not of same username @bsnl.in. If it is previous username, you may kind of accept. But, if they give their own way with some numbers, who is going to accept.

My brother had a tough time. Initially it was masterbrain or something @dataone.in, later it changed to [email protected] :P . He got mad and started complaining from bottom to top by calling them(including Central ministry thru email). (believe me, if you send mail to central ministry, you get a quick response). Later, for his surprise, he got the same email in 4 days with @bsnl.in.

These mail ids which is shown in the websites are of no use. I never got any reply from them. Infact, portal.bsnl.in always used to correct the problems if i give complaints thru that.

Just go to the Area Manager's office or CROs office. (normally both will be @ same place). Visit personally than calling them. Calling them would hardly help for many.

There is no extension to my user ID of at the rate of. It is just with three numericals.

Can my login ID and Password for internet connectivity be different than that for logging in to ascertain usage? BSNL chaps at the exchanges are able to log in with the same but not me from my PC? Is Windows XP2 or IE6 blocking my loggin?

By the way, I had taken Sify DSL from March 2008 to May 2008. In June I threw them out as most of the time during the day, their connectivity was down due to fault repairs. Sify has an irritating software whereby they used to try to promote their group sites and push their Trend Micro when I already had AVG Free 7.5. I tell you that like Norton Antivirus, Sify is not easy to remove from your system. One may need to go for formatting the C:\Partition and reload Windows. I would always boycott Sify, Tata, and Reliance.

This too takes you to a User ID page that does not accept my User ID.

Finally, I have downloaded and installed DQUFSetup_0.7.0.0.exe but what can the poor software do when the usage site is not opening. I have tried via:

I have enabled cookies by keeping the bar at Medium in Privacy of Internet Options. If I enable first party and third party cookies via advanced, my AVG Free 8 malfunctions though I have failed with this option too earlier.

Until now I have never got an inflated BB usage bill but, then, you never know with BSNL. As the billing is bimonthly, I make it a point to log in at BSNL on the very next date of the bill and download the same. Original bills are seldom received and, if received at all then they come in after the due date by snail post.

14 digit portal ID is only for those who took connection from BSNL Broadband and not those who took earlier from BSNL-Dataone.

Presume you can connect to Internet with UserId and password.
But unable to check usage and access webmail ( IP range 59.xx.xx.xx ) with same .
Please recheck and confirm ( Not really needed , since you say BSNL can check your usage )
What Is My IP Address? - Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...
Confirm you use Wanminiport dialer("bridged") or "Alwayson Mode "
2. Disable Firewall and Antivirus and Windows Firewall and try.
3. Did you download FireFox browser ? and try ?
4. In IE /Options/Advanced/ Browsing etc Javascript enabled ?
5. Try OpenDNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222.
6. In IE clear all temp files cookies cache etc and try again.
7. Give feedback , even if negative for all above AFTER trying.

Select a BW meter which does not depend on BSNL portal like , Tautology meter and check your usage. Timer available to disconnect for free NU.
 
I use Home 250 plan ans I am a new portal user. Since last month, when I log in the bbservice.bsnl.in I dont get the previous window which i used to get. I get something like this. This seems to be 500 plan window since it shows Night Unlimited thing in it.Also i use DataOne QUF to check my usage but since this problem has occured, it does not show up usage poping some Error in data retrieving. Any Help????:confused:if anybody has posted about this problem before please redirect me to the thread. Regards,Kaustubh
 
@above... You dont have to worry with this window.. 102792 KB ie, 100MB is used.. So, just ignore that NU portion... this is the same for Unlimited Users aswell... meanwhile , try data.bsnl.in with same username/password (looks same though)
 
member/naikaustubh/There is no usage by you between 0200AM and 0800 AM. / No entries for NU. So there is no problem. Try a short session tomororow morning between 0600 to 0800, and see how the usage is accounted for you. Para two :EDIT your post :: Delete the link given. Blank your acct number and user ID in future screen shots ( to be on safe side ).Which version of DQUF you are using ?
