What do you mean when you say pro rata? If you change to UL in middle of the month what happens to the data usage in the UL part? Do confirm....

Pro rata means being charged only for the period when your plan was active and not for the whole month

i wrote before that i will reply after i come back from exchange. here it is.A good news.Today i went to my local exchange and told them about my huge bill. i told them that i got charged for nov08 bonus offer. they checked my telephone no on there computer and reduced my amount of bill from 2900/- to 836/-.Man its a huge relief.

Thanks for the reply, Sahyadri. And thanks for correcting me. Its good. Now have to pay less for a day even if Dec is a 31-days month..!! But you said that for UL plans, customers are charged for the entire month..! So will I have to pay for the entire month....??

i recently got myself a bsnl broadband start-up 250. i browse quite a lot, upto 4 to 5 sites at a time and upto 3 hours a day. i download upto 200 to 300Mb in a month. will this plan be enough for me? is it possible for me to get a bill more than 750Rs if i get myself a 750UL plan?

Hi,

I received this mail from customercare today.

As per the usage details portal I have used only 1132423KB
That is about 1.1GB.

I tried to contact local and district internet offices
no proper reply. In fact they dont know what is this about:@.

Please help me with your comments and suggestions.
What should I do. Should I ignore this mail and continue using
broadband as per the usage shown in usage portal.:wall:
