How to check BSNL Broadband Account Usage?

( No connection with official BSNL organisation )

Get 14 digit portal Id and default password as password.
Also your exchange may give EmailId and password.
( total 3 sets including UserID/ PW for connecting to Internet)

Check here your usage:
You need your consumer number shown in Telephone bill.
BSNL Portal

Stop gap arrangement :
Download Shaplus 1.3 meter and monitor your usage from today
http://www.shaplus.com/bandwidth-meter/

usage will not be shown.

If you use FireFox browser download addon DataFox
will show usage just above Taskbar ( if BSNL Portal is working )

I am amazed how many people are posting to this thread and all because BSNL did not do the following simple things:1) Put a message on their website saying something like "We are having problems with the account usage server and we expect it to be rectified soon. We will update this message when the server is up and running again".2) Put simple instructions on their website for "how to access account usage information".How much time do you think the above would take to do? It is not the difficulty in doing this but the ATTITUDE of BSNL towards customers that is causing much inconvenience for the customers. Has anyone complained to BSNL about this at all?
