@essbebe, Thanks for your reply, I like to elaborate here
-Have been using NetworX since the beginning along with Shaplus.
NetworX is great for real time usage statistics but has no option to segregate
the 2AM-8AM Night time free usage from the charged usage.
Actually it has !!, just needed to play around with the settings, here is how it works
Go to settings ->Advanced -> Set the boxes which correspond to time 2 to 2.59
through 7 to 7.59 against the week as unmetered (will try to post some images later)
and On Peak for the rest and press Apply -> OK
Next go to quota ->Setup -> select Monthly/All Traffic/Hours Flat rate/MB/ from
the drop down menus, enter the monthly limit(2560 MB as per my plan) in the
allowance box and press ok and VOILA you are set up.
Now the usage display shows only the usage statistics for the On peak hours
i.e the charged usage which you can monitor and control.
-Shaplus was providing me with charts, reports and summary of the
balance free bandwidth available for the remaining days of the month which i
think was a great tool in monitoring the usage.
I think the BSNL portal has added an extra column showing the account no,
user id and the total usage which is yet to be updated by the Shaplus tool,
leading to the error display.
-Right now i can find the usage statistics through
BSNL Portal, as and when it gets updated, relying on NetworX for instant updates.
So is there any other bandwidth monitoring tool which can help me in
managing my limited usage plan until Shaplus can be fixed?
As far as the BSNL selfcare portals, i noticed that it is not available for
Bangalore BSNL telecom users, so that option is ruled out for now as
you can see below from the karnataka telecom website
BSNL, Karnataka
"Web self care provides the facilities for viewing ,printing bills and make Land line bills
payment online and this can be accessed through
CRM for all SSAs except BGTD. "
PS:As a stop gap arrangement i found that i can use SHAPLUS' own Bandwidth meter 1.3
which has the option of excluding night unlimited usage from the total usage for a month.
