hi 2 c usage just type bsnl broadband account in google and it opens the magic box, simple. ironicaly i can even now on dialup ( on which i am now) c my usage on bbnd!and even change my password of the user id for bbnd which i had changed about 8 hours back!incidentally what is unbilled usage-pl amplify. refer my earlier comments-does it mean that the bbnd server is down for the error i have mentioned. whole affair seems too bloody funny and painful- i mean viewing bbnd usage thru dialup yet no bbnd connctn-!!??

Try logging in using the old password, do u get the same message ?

Hi cool_techie,

Do you see any solution to the problem mentioned about blank page when checking usages at:
http://p3hosting.bsnl.in:9080/BroadBandCustomerPortal/

I did set the cookies to Prompt and click Allow everytime it asks. I use the same my UserID (the one to connect BB) as PortalID and Password (the one to connect BB) as Password on above page. This ends up with a blank page having this URL:
http://p3hosting.bsnl.in:9080/BroadBandCustomerPortal/UserAuthenticationController

What am I doing wrong?

Also, DeepakJ..
My IP is also in this range: 117.x.x.x; could you tell me how did you get the PortalID and Password to logon to above site.

Thanks in advance,
Vipin

^ Vipin , if you have recently got the broadband connection
then please contact your local exchange for the portal and
user ID & password details to check your usage .

@Vipin I too have heard the same from many subscribers using the new portal. Sometime it just freezes on that blank page. According to them, its a temporary error and will be subdued in a couple of hours. I would suggest waiting for sometime before trying the portal.

@vipin: try now.
http://p3hosting.bsnl.in:9080/BroadBandCustomerPortal/
UID [RJJP20071131454] see your post No 67. without brackets [ ]
Password : password
IF
successful OK. ( meaning Rajasthanjaipuryear some number combination )
Do not change anything now ID or password.
ELSE
call 1800 424 1600 and explain the problem. Another number was given here 12768 ? or 12678. ? try this also.

Thanks seshu.

cool_techie, do you agree that the PortalID and Password (to check usages) would be different than UserID and Password (to connect BB)?

Because my exchange people seems know nothing as they don't know what PortelID is.. on asking they simply told use the one that you have.
They have contracted the responsibility to install broadband connections and this contracted person is a DUMB; on asking about usages he simply answers to check it at dataone.in site; on asking about PortelID and Password (he is amazed with term PortelID), he suggest to use same UserID and Password. To check him I asked him about my new mail id that BSNL has provided with new connection but to my surprise he said BSNL does not provide anything like that and on telling him this truth he disconnected the phone thrice.
The person as 1800-424-1600 had also suggested me to check the dataone.in site with same UserID and Password (that I use for BB) for usage and on telling him that it leads to a blank page he said there are problems with servers and they would be fixed soon.

But I must tell you that this is not a problem that I am facing today, infact I am getting this blank page for last three-four days. Like andy at:
https://broadband.forum/bsnl-dataone-broadband/19264-bsnl-dataone-broadband-attn-new-users-anybody-checking-usage/7/#post142437

Thanks essbebe, I just tried your suggestion but no luck. However right now I am on sify connection.. is it mandatory to be on dataone connection while trying the portal?

Thanks everybody for all your help.
Vipin.

Yep. The portal id is a unique 14 digit id. Usually in here, they give the portal id along with the username and password. Contact the nearest NIB, they should be having clues about this id.

Explain the facts to him. Earlier subscribers like me, got ip address of the range 59.xx.xx.xx. We could use dataone.in and subsequently portals like http://10.240.64.195/webLogin.jsp to check your usage details. Only the username and password which are used while establishing a connection are required in the portal (http://10.240.64.195/webLogin.jsp) But the newer subscribers like u, are assigned NIB - II. Hence their ip ranges are of 117.xx.xx.xx. The access to portal http://p3hosting.bsnl.in:9080/BroadBandCustomerPortal/ is required to keep track of the usage. And unfortunately an unique portal id too is required.

You have to check connected to DATAONE and IE browser.can you check the portal ID you gave ? RJJP200711314542 numbers missing to make up 17 digits ?The password is password. I also get a blank page authentication controller. No error messages.

hi
@vipin.r
u should have got the portal id and password in ur bsnl mail inbox......check. if not try to register in bsnl portal, but they take some time in activating it.so the best choice would be to call some officer holding some high post in ur exchange.

and those who managed to check their usage in 117.x.x.x range do u see the coloumn called usage in paise???

any idea what it is???because it is already showing some 800rs...and i m on 250 scheme...............any ideas??

also the usage checking site is working properly but the usage for the last two days has not been updated.....i called them up and they have no clue and they told me that still the usage checking for new server has not been implemented correctly so they cannot help me out...............the person who attended my call had no clue abt the usage in paise........

thanx
