1.Dataone Quick Usage Finder | sunish.net program DQUF if you use IE.
2.Add on DataFox if you use Firefox browser ( recommended for faster surfing adblockplus etc )
3.Direct BSNL for usage check for Ip 59.92.52.xx etc

Hi folks,How to decipher the usage of my account , i cant understand their calculation of used and unused hours and usage.Is there any program available to simplify my problem DUF2.0 (Data usage finder)is old as bsnl has renewed the site it does not work.I have a homeplan of 500 and i want to know how much GB i used and how much is balance.Thanks

this is just simple arithmetic.add the total of upload+download under the column "Total" except for the entries between 2am-8am(if you have night free in your plan).this total will be in KB.divide by 1024 to get total in MB & then in GB(1GB=1024MB & 1MB=1024KB).if your total is less than the free usage you have been given then you will pay only your plan amount.if more than calculate how much extra by subtracting your free usage from the total you calculated.multiply it by .80 or .90 as per your plan to get the additional amount in Rs.

BSNL portal will show amount for every data transfer in non-free period(i.e.excluding 2-8am if your plan has it) so total bill will be always more than the one you calculate according to method i mentioned above.this is a problem in the bsnl portal system & your actual bill will be the one you calculated.

@mayflower.
Too late to think of alternate means of checking usage. only one more day left for Jan 2008.
http://p3hosting.bsnl.in:9080/BroadBandCustomerPortal/
check now opening. ok.. Check the date say jan 28th or 29th recorded so far.
Alternate meters for new users to check/keep track of their usage,
Accuracy etc you can cross check with BSNL meter.

Para two.
If you want to use the DQUF program send PM to @sunish the programmer
your 14digit PortalID and password Password (or the PW changed by you ) . He will
modify the program for new users too.
Other new users may also help in the project.

getting the follwing error

"Error 405: HTTP method GET is not supported by this URL"
