Cha_indian no I havent tested the Asus WL-520gu BTW do you realize that its a G router not a N hence I do not recommend the same coz it does not make sense to buy a G based router today coz they are slow and outdated...... BTW there is no guarantee that a router after flashing with DD-wrt with work with Beam PPOPE I have flashed two router a Linksys and a Belkin with dd-wrt but they did not work with Beam with PPOPE mode.If the source that has mentioned you that it works with Beam under PPOPE is accurate and you do not have need for the best WiFi speeds but mainly use the wired ethernet connections then the router might suit your needs.

hi ranjit,it seems like Asus RT N13U is not available anywhere in Hyderabad. I searched in CTC and Ameerpet area and not available... where did you buy yours ??regards

prefer the link which i have given above and use GC39AMPJUPQ3 as Gift coupon. you would get it for 2539/- Includes shipping charges.
Ask our Ranjitbhar once. I'm not that good at Routers!

In CTC there is a shop named Borbosa / Babosa computers or something like that he is a authorized Asus dealer and he generally has those routers in stock.Again check for the B1 revision model coz that one supports even 3G datacards.

the above thing in HS18 also supports 3G data cards its mentioned in the specifications?
Supported Modems:India EpiValley SEC-8380 Tata, Huawei E1550 Airtel, Huawei E1550 Idea, Huawei EC1260 Reliance, ilemon ILD72A MTNL, ZTE AC2766 MTS

^ Connect beam cable directly to your lan card, open portal and logout if already connected. Then try with router.
