@Rickysin @MadAxe @pillaicha @manu1991 @Tejas01 Thanks. I will buy the
C6. But I am not sure if I can use it as a
router with my ISP.
I did this small "experiment" today where I deleted my existing PPPoE credentials, created a new one exactly as same as the old one and tried to connect but I got an "Authentication error" in this page [1] (Sorry, I don't have the exact image of it saying "AUTHENTICATION FAILURE").
No change. Same username, same password (which I was able to see after using browser inspect tool and it was just a string of asterisks) and same VLAN ID but it is not authenticating.
When I deleted the WAN profile, it showed "No connection". When I created the new one, it is failing to authenticate. (Before doing all this, I have already backed up my config and I just restored it later, so that I will not be locked out of my internet). After restoration of old config, it is authenticating successfully and I am connected to the internet.
So what does this mean? Can't I use my new C6 as the Router? I have to add, it registers to the LCO OLT without any profile[2] and I get a green light but if I put the same creds and create a new profile, I get an authentication failure. I am attaching some pics here of my WAN profile[3]. The creds are fake.

Or am I doing some classic newbie error somewhere here? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
