Online shopping is not retail one. When i had HTC Radar people in metro rail use to try it as it has Mango OS. Service center guys keep the phone sometimes just to use it for a while, customer thinks its just taken for repair :panda:

i have no plans to leave my phone with the service center for repairs or whatever. if they ask me to leave the phone with them, i would simply refuse and try to get it in writing from them that they would try to 'repair the phone'.

the phone has a unibody structure. i doubt, it can be opened for repairs easily without destroying the integrity of the structure. they probably have a corporate office here in gurgaon. they would probably get a visit from me. :)

already thinking of buying a domain named htconexproblems.com etc etc. :|

heh. no surprises there. Apple pretended that the issue with signal blockage was a user problem. even apple customers were baffled by the attitude of the company (and steve jobs) about that problem. how they tried to use competing phones to demonstrate that the problem happens with all types of phones. my phone is not bad, you are stupid hence you are wrong.

Thats the perfect way to do!! Seriously if someone's phone related issue is not solved from thr service center or if unsatisfied then get a written letter from them about it. Send it to the manufacturer office with the phone invoice copy. or even threat for taking a legal action in some cases :wink_2: , they will be at your service :)

Is the option to write a review there at the vendor's site ? (i.e. at buytheprice )

by the price are very supportive. they just need a DOA certificate from the service center to replace the phone. actually their customer support has been pretty impressive to say the least!

More issues! Yey.

I am noticing a very faint red colored light coming from the left of the HTC logo. Strangely, on camera it appears like a bright white colored light. I am confused now.

[/COLOR]I am guessing it is the proximity sensor that has somehow managed to start glowing up!

That is not an issue. It is an infrared sensor. Infrared light shows up as white light in many cameras. Some of that infrared light bleeds into visible spectrum of red color hence that faint red glow. Don't bother about it. Continue to use your phone as normal till HTC issues an update regarding the main banding problem.

:D I just want to hear this from the company! Absolutely no response on any of the social networks. Though they continue to retweet praises about the One Series. Shows the true culture of the company.

and well. you guys can support the cause by +1ing the relevant pages of the forum! you guys behave very miserly when it comes to giving +1s :(

Its thr social interaction team that tweets and creates the hype about the phones etc :) , they just read/post articles all day and try to attract more figures :P
