The custom ROMs bring more pain than joy. Random stuff doesn't work. I would say, stick with stock HTC Rom as warranty supersedes every benefit custom ROM provides. You know that eaceful:

As for your comment, either you have been bitten by a bad experience (which is unfortunate) or you really don't know jack. I have been using cyanogenmod 7 (stable) for a year plus and it's waaaaaaaaaaay better and more stable than the stock HTC Rom. And there is no feature that doesn't work, while at the same time hundreds of little little things that have opened up in terms of customization.

Update 1.29 rolling out now in Europe..
people are reporting the colors are much better now..so our great screen is now gonna be even greater..
N the phone will get faster too..no info on battery life yet..

guys some how i am not liking One X camera. its hard to believe tat it performs bad during low light and pixles are hazy once the pics are zoomed

hehe. pretty much the same feeling here. but then i have not used a better camera on a phone so i have little to complain

by the way experiment with the camera settings. the auto feature is not very good. you can actually get much better shots using the manual options.

hmmmmm, let me try manual option. also me unfortunate enough not to recieve any of the accessory ordered online. neither flipkart delivered nor ebay. ebay i had double bubble, order zagg screen guard, didn't delivered. applied for refund. ordered another one from Gadget shield which also didn't turn up. order rock skin from Flipkart, no idea when will it arrieve

haha. man. the display has gorilla glass. you can use it normally. you might end up damaging the screen with the film considering it is not sticky and would probably have friction with the surface! just avoid putting it in your pocket with keys etc. even though that should also not technically do any damage. and i thought i was excessively careful with the display on my phone
