i think my most basic issue remains with the sense ui. the phone just does not feel natural to me. especially when you see different UI elements in different apps. some apps show the native android UI... while others are messed up with sense ui. in the end, it is an annoying user experience for someone like me who has been on stock android for more than 2 years now!
i have basically seen HTC ads all over tv and they were all abt its supposedly "awesome" camera. So was curious what was wrong about it.

The latest version of HTC's proprietary skin, Sense 4, comes on top of Android 4.0.3. But this isn't your father's old version of Sense. In fact, it's a much more refreshing take on a skin that used to be incredibly bogged down by nonsense animations and unnecessary UI elements. Is it stock Ice Cream Sandwich? No, not by a long shot. But what you'll get with the One X's user experience is a pleasant mix of ICS and Sense, both halves somehow finding a way to live together in harmony.

But AFAIK stock android is the best i have used till date.

i never said that one x was a shitty phone. i love the display and performance wise it is incredible. it just does not work for me. that's it! as for insane part. i think i have recovered from that phase. i am now absurd. i really am!

my zagg has still not arrived. one chip already. complained. they have reshipped the zagg. hopefully this one arrives.

as for pouch... i have never found the logic of buying a pouch. it makes the phone inaccessible.

considering you have the zagg on the phone, you should have gone for a regular case or a flip-case.

my opinion of course.

They dont provide any tracking?

not on the five dollar shipping that comes through USPS. should have taken the more expensive shipping (that costs more than skin itself ). next time i guess i would pick courier instead of mail.

Buy from ebay. Will save you a lot!

i guess. it was not available from ebay india at least. i bought it on the same day they launched it on their site. had to wait for a couple of days because the phone was so new!

finally paid for the phone (credit card bill). along with server payment, this was probably my biggest payment to a credit card company ever! lol.
