I want to buy a Cordless Phone with Caller ID

I want to buy a cordless phone with caller ID feature. The cordless phone will be used with Airtel fixed line.

Any input is appreciated.

How better are the DECT phones from the digital cordless phones for home usage? Does anyone have a firsthand experience?

Dect got better coverage. No interference while microwave is on.
Also after recent 2.4ghz congestion voice distortion must be big. I have used 2.4ghz 7-8yrs back when wifi networks were non-existent where i live.
Though you can change channels but still if too many wifi netwrok showing in list then better avoid.

Problem is most seller don't know about this and aren't even informed about dect cordless

Similarly many of cheaper model from gigaset are dect but not easy to find in description.
Also fyi dect works on 1900mhz band therefore interference free.

It's better to go with DECT as the 2.4Ghz spectrum too crowded these days. Even the 5 GHz is starting to get a bit congested.

Yup my airtel router on ground floor placed next to the cordless give coverage in the basement. Basement router doesn't on ground
