I did wonder about it. Almost paid for petrol earlier today using the debit card but didn't remember reading about zero charge on petrol pumps so switched to credit card. Local bank guys said it might take a week lol. Can't think of anything else to purchase right now 
lol. early morning panga le liya. made advance payment on mcg water bill knowing that their billing system is shit. and as expected... payment appeared failed though money has been deducted. now would have to follow this missing payment for weeks. and hope for another miracle like last time. 
ah well. tbh. had to make water bill payment sometime this month in any case, so this risk was always there. if this payment goes through, i am set for two future bills. fuckers removed the billing point in my sector and are forcing us all to pay online. end result is that i am now not only responsible for my own bill but also of some neighboring uncles who are not comfy making online payments.
so it has become quite a gamble. sometimes the payment gateway (powered by hdfc and icici no less) works fine and payments are credited properly. and sometimes it is all shit. my last failure was on icici so i switched to hdfc and today hdfc failed so nothing is safe on that portal.

Opened IDFC account digitally yesterday. Videokyc ask you to enter Aadhar which i did, thrown an error that my records are not available.
Digital account opened using Aadhar only, infact permanent address & picture captured from Aadhar itself.
Customer support suggesting me to visit nearest branch for kyc which 50kms away to my place.
Their branch locator portal doesn't contain new branch information.
