Internet is fast, but wifi speed is slow

Manually running two Wifi Channels separately is what I think is best for lower end routers . The intelligent selection(Smart Connect) which they claim never work . Even though I am in the "decent range" of 5Ghz , the C6 always puts me on the 2.4 Ghz .

How's your c6's performance ?
Specifically 5Ghz performance .
I have a6 and in another room with 1 wall between link speed drops from 433mbps to 97-130mbps. Distance is hardly15-20 feets but with one wall in between
Is c6 any better than a6 version 2 ?
@shashankb

The C6 performance on the 5Ghz is not so great. The A6 must be a slight better performer than C6

I also have a wall inbetween and the Wifi strength drops one point on the mobile indicator for your reference. I go from 100 to somewhat 60ish mbps.
I have not monitored the signal strength drop but yeah drops very much .The metal rods inside walls and the thick concrete walls make it difficult to use Wifi generally in Indian homes.

Imo opinion try 1pc of M4 for same price range at Amazon. What i have discovered is range of single m4 is also quite good. Also getting better speed than my old Netgear gigabit router on wifi.
You can later add unit like m3w for better mesh coverage if required.

Loving the fast roaming feature of Deco series. Can walk from one end of house to other without single break in video call. I am getting 150mbps easily on satellite router connecting via 5ghz.

I just don't know how Deco without having any external antennas can perform better than router having 4 external and 1 internal antenna (A6) from same brand

I must admit seamless roaming is the only best benefit of having Mesh devices. Otherwise satellite connection over wireless without having dedicated backhaul (i.e tri band)is not that great for speeds.
Speeds specially reduce if satellite is not in direct line of sight .

I am not sure about that. But M4 has quad core processor vs single or dual in a6. Better software as 5ghz is use for backend too.
Even if coverage lack its a proper scalable solution with fast roaming. You can add unit like m3w which currently sell at 2k for extra coverage.

Dedicated backhaul cost double the price. One can place main unit where serious work is involved and rest with satellite.
