Iron Man Trilogy

I read about Avatar release. It was delayed in some Markets where another movie from same Production house was running in theaters. Release of Avatar would have hampered collection of that another movie.
Same could be reason of delayed release of Iron Man 3. Any other movie from same production house might be running in theaters now. I think that is strategy adopted by many Hollywood production house.

Well. Robert Downey Jr. is not exactly a young man. I do not remember reading any interview that he is not interested in doing standalone movies in future.

Well he is not going to be forever. And The Avengers franchise is pretty huge and is only going to get bigger with addition of new superheros.
No one expected Mark Ruffalo to do such a great job as Hulk. Iron Man was never a top of the line Marvel character. Captain America on the other hand
