Is C6 good enough for 100mbps access point? My really really old Buffalo router has become quite painful to use in the corner most room of the house 😩

I bought Archer A6 in May from Amazon and it's US version Feb stock.
Anyways, what is this openWRT?

Is this helps us to solve CG-NAT issue?
Can any help me to understand it in easy and better way?

Secondly if we do install openWRT firmware, can that cause warranty issue? Or can we revert back to default firmware?

It's just open source firmware that might or might not offer extra functionality on the same hardware. It won't magically fix NAT though.

Deferred mesh router purchase to diwali sale.
Deal i left are

Dlink covr 2pc for 4050 bad reviews
M5 2pc in 10k over budget
Linksys velop 2pc in 9k coverage probs acc to reviews
Was expecting M4 at 7-8k but was oos and 3pc was same.
My 300mbps excitel plan starts from mid oct.
Brought TP-Link ac1300 usb adapter instead and getting full 100mbps for now on desktop/laptop.

Cousin who ordered the C6 recently from Amazon also got the EU version.

It would have been really cool if the stock firmware supported the OneMesh system with two routers. However it only supports with a router and a range extender. The issue is range extender costs way more than the router itself. 😝

One my friend order A6 In prime day sale and he got US version, manufacturing is June 2002.

So seems like depending on where from its shipping.
And you get version accordingly.

Interesting fact :- You can emulate/clone the router webpage of many TP-Link routers on their website for clarification of the features/options they are offering on the router web portal .
We get to know many features like Router wide VPN support , Firmware flashing etc before buying
Just a piece of information if anyone`s buying a router
