Jio didn't disappoint. It is as reliance as reliance gets.

@icecool20 there is a difference, the first one is the money is given to jio. which is the most important thing for them, while the second case money is given to consumers which is the least prioritized matter not only for jio but for any other company

@codwapeace For me too, they pulled off the same show, I had to put complaint on national consumer helpline , just the next day I got a call from their nodal office and within next 24 hours they did the optical terminal box installation outside my house and I was the first guy to to get the connection from that box, everything was done exactly within 48 hours from raising the complaint
Thanks @Xposed , this is what worked for me. It just took a week for me to get everything resolved. Let us see what the future holds.

Haha. I don't expect anything else, either. The beginning has not been good. I will try the free trial. If I don't like it I will go back to my previous ISP and keep Jio as on demand backup. I will recharge it whenever the other ISP is not working well.

Where to complain.
I disconnected my first postpaid connection. Now taken perpaid.
They taken ont and entered bank details on Aug 17th. Till not received.

They don't remove any wiring.
Wire is ofc and very delicate.
They know some customers will come back.
Like me :D . They simply connected to existing wire.

But i didn't get the refund till now. It's 1 month till they taken ont. When i contacted cc they are telling it will take 45-60 days
They have been telling me two weeks for the refund. The problem is they haven’t sent anyone to pick up the modem and start the process.

This refundable amount is against the intrest of the consumer. Why are they even naming it as a trial? When you are paying them the amount that costs 500 for router and 1000 for STB and 1000 for first month so called “TRIAL” internet plan. Disconnection after trial will deduct the cost of the one month internet plan which is around 1000 and they basically have the rest of the deposit with them until you insist for a disconnection which most people aren’t going to if they do opt one. Other ISP’s offer you free router when you opt for quarterly or half yearly plan like airtel did for me without any installation charges what so ever which gives better value proposition. So they‘re basically getting 1500 to 500 INR per connection as free capital rightly deceiving public in the name of trial and deposit. This deposit only gets refunded if customer safe guards all the accessories along with the box which i doubt most of the people would do.
