Has anyone successfully configured the XZ005-G6 V1 2.5G ONU with JIO Fiber? If so, could you please share the steps and configuration details?

@a.banerjee If it uses the GC1601A, then it will not work, as ALCL has authentication issues with it. There is a Realtek variant, maybe that works? But the Galachip variant doesn't work.
Normal steps would be: GPON SN as VendorID(ex. SCOM/ARCN)+Last 8-Digit MAC of JioRouter and VLAN ID TAG/Control by OLT, with OLT Mode as X Then set MAC ID of JioRouter onto the Primary Router.

@a.banerjee Peobably then it's a galachip chipset.
Can you please confirm what is your OLT used by Jio Backend? maybe through any other ONT you have with telnet access.
use omcicli mib get 131 and the OLT vid will show up.

@a.banerjee OLT is ALCL. G6 won't work with it. Only Huawei/ZTE/FiberHome OLTs work.

We may need unlocked firmware, similar to G3, that allows us to input all the necessary details, such as GPON Vendor ID, Serial Number, ONT Version, Software Version, etc.

You can try it only for GPON SN..

@kbhatt I already tried to put GPON SN in HEX mode and ASCII+HEX mode, but nothing works.
