Kerala: BSNL Bharat Fiber New Plans (30/100/200/300mbps)

One of the two requests shown in the self care portal has moved to Completed. If I now go to My Services --> My Facilities, my previous plan and the new Fibre Premium plan is listed.

No change in speed and https://redirect1.bbportal.bsnl.co.in/portal/ (equivalent of fuptopup.bsnl.co.in) still shows the old plan. Looks like they did something, but it's not complete yet for whatever reason.

This morning, I had called the BSNL exchange and spoke to an officer who after trying to convince me that the plan is available only in the municipal area (Kerala: BSNL Bharat Fiber New Plans (30/100/200/300mbps) | BSNL Bharat Fiber), said that she will try to process my request and see if it goes through. Not sure if that made any difference though. Have to wait and see.

The plans are not visible in selfcare portal for one of my relative in Jhansi UP East circle. But they today gave application for plan change at exchange to Fiber Basic and within 1 hour they changed the new plan.

Just called 1800 345 1504 and asked about new plans and whether my number is eligible or not . The Customer care girl replied that,it is available only in tvm and ekm. I asked again, whether it is available to entire tvm district or not. She confirmed again after asking to somebody that it is available to enitire tvm and i can change from any exchange.

But on october 1, my local exchange person in charge of ftth said, it is not availble now.

Anyone from Thiruvanathapuram Rural changed plan or given request directly on CSC. ?

I said I can login to my self-care portal and see these plans and I've already submitted the change request but it's still not processed. They are like we don't know about self care portal, but currently we cannot take a request.

When i was using Bsnl Landline Broadband and Wimax (Before 2017). I used to submit plan change request via selfcare on working days, mostly on monday in between 10.30 am to 12.00pm. Most of the time request processed within 30 minutes and plan changed. If i submit request on any other time, request will not be processed

@midhun007 Try submitting a request through self-care if the plan shows up for you.

Interesting, regarding the self care plan change process. I wonder why they still require you to visit the CSC for anything even at this time. Anyway in my case I have submitted a PG Portal complaint that the plan change is still not processed.

I contacted the Thrissur LCO and they responded by stating that the new plans haven't yet been rolled out for our SSA and they haven't received information regarding the rollout either.

Interesting, one of my neighbors using BSNL fiber who gets it direct was just recently told that due to rise in interest the new plans might roll out soon in TCR. A lot of people itching to switch to Jio Fiber here. I would actually consider getting BSNL as like a backup due to me having to WFH indefinitely. BSNL on my street is underground cabling till the start of the street then the absolute last mile(100m) from their box is over bent poles and trees which is worrying.
