@Nitin ... i actually checked with ISP ....they said i can opt for static ip at around 1850 (subscription for 1 year). And then again next year i will have to pay.... anyways i left the NAT issues for now. .....not bothering much about them....

So to get a NAT type Open from NAT Strict, I need to get Static IP?

And what is VLAN in the Internet setting page, Is it important to check and add VLAN ID?

OK,for tp-link Archer c60,just shift it to AP mode and connect it to the ONT if you do not intend to use ONT as bridge.
Why everyone share NAT configuration from application page?
Is there a NAT page in network setting?
There are two implementation of NAT within the router.First one is simply by numbers.The second option given in APPLICATION section is only to be used if you set NAT type to 3 or 4 and want to open few more ports other than allowed in that NAT type.

@Libu I have KeralaVision internet and the NAT type is strict. Is there any way to fix this issue. Have u found any solution?

@varkey I'll get open NAT if I set up Static IP, I've a Strict NAT by now? Is there a possibility of getting the same type of NAT even after getting a static IP?

If you get a static IP address, you should be able to get open NAT. Sure there are possibilities that it wouldn't work, but the whole purpose of opting for a static IP address is things like this, so you should be good. Please do post here if you do end up opting for it, I am interested in knowing the cost involved.

Hai unfortunately i disconnected my Asianet docsis connection and took Kerala vision onu but now am screwed . The main purpose of this upgrade was multiplayer gaming in ps4 but stuck on strict nat anyone please let me know any solution, tried dmz upnp and port forwarding nothing works

@varkey I had taken static IP with KV. Paid 1500/- ( or 1000/- don't remember now ) as initial deposit for an year. I opted for static IP since I wanted to open incoming traffic in few UDP ports.

I was paying normal monthly charges ( 750/- or so). But some point of time an amendment came from DOT that static IP should be provided to subscribers who will be paying more than 1000/- as monthly rent. Due to this KV created a new plan for 1001/- and I had to pay this rent. By that time my play with the UDP ports come to an end and I opted out static IP plan.

Things changed during lock down time , KV was so pathetic , then I switched to BSNL.
