Hi priyan,I applied for a reliance Broadband (649 combo plan ) on 20 Oct,2009.My Application form number was-17800012381996I submitted the application form along with a cheque of 500 rupees. My cheque got cashed but still i have not got the broadband connection.I got the order acceptance mail from reliance broadband on 27th oct ,I was promised that i will get broadband connection within 7 days but till now no connection for me.In the mean time i called the agents and customer care but just fake assurances. i am providing all my details below please take proper action as soon as possible as i dont know what to do.CAF No- 17800012381996Subscriber ID's-POTS- 8030209626DIA-335678676612Thanks in Advance-Raj Kumar Gupta

Please follow steps mentioned below for registration:

· Click on the ‘New User’ link below the username and password box.
· If the screen design / look-n-feel / color schema changes then this also needs to get changed without any delay.
· Key in a username of your choice and check for the availability by clicking on the ‘Check Availability’ button.
· Enter your name details.
· Choose a preferred mode of communication.
· Enter your mobile number or the email address or both.
· Select a secret question of your choice and then provide the answer to that question.
· Key in the characters you see in the word verification image.
· Click on ‘Register’.
· You will receive a password via the preferred communication method that you had chosen.
· Login using your username and the password.

To register your Netconnect Broadband account :

· Login to My Services using your username and password.
· Click on ‘My Account’ on the top left hand corner and then click on ‘Register Account’. OR From Home, Click on My Account then Click on Register Account
· Enter your Customer Account Number, Billing Account Number & Subscriber ID. All these information can be found in your monthly bill. A snapshot of the bill is also embedded in the website to assist you in finding these details.
· After you have keyed in all these details click on ‘Register’ button and your service would be added to your login.
· You would be logged out if this is the first service you are trying to register. In that case please re-login.

To pay your bills, click on the account number on the Left Hand Tree (Registered Accounts) for which you want to pay the bill and then select the 'Postpaid A/C details' tab. The second tab under that is the 'Pay Bill' tab. Once you click that, it would display your outstanding amount. If you wish, you may modify it and then select a payment mode and go ahead with payment.

Even your post above makes no mention of a PIN!

Thursday night (12/11/2009) I put in a complaint for the PIN with complaint number 113078255 and was told to expect something in 24 hours.

Please see if you can help. If you need more details, I can PM you.

Why is it so hard to get a new connection.. they say it is not feasible but keep giving me bloody pamphlets and brouchers :(
 
Sure, if you may help, please respond to following mail.It absolutely gives me no pleasure writing this mail to you. I have registered for a Reliance wired net on 27th October 2009 through a door to door sales man, the same was confirmed through the mail below, wherein I was told that the same shall be processed and the connection shall be activated in a weeks time. By now I guess we are close to a month since I have applied for the connection, during the last one month I have called the customer care almost every successive day, last being today, and each day I was assured that I shall be getting a call from the Reliance within 24hrs, something that never materialized. My complaint has been escalated several times since then, without any response from the installation team. Though my cheque was soon materialized on 6th of November, how praiseworthy?My details are as below.1. CAF no.:178000123793882. Subscriber ID/s :1) POTS - 80307014802) DIA - 320511312583On 19th November, I spoke to Ms Sudha (080-30701210) and was again told that mine application is under process and shall get a connection by Wednesday, the 25th Nov 2009, and when asked if the samething happens and if i dont get the connection, what m i supposed to do, and she replied so efficiently, "Sir, Please give me a call again". How funny!!!Mr. Anil Ambani, do you really have some sensible person working for you or is it your complete focus is on your brother's money and ours too?There was nobody to receive the call at the above number today, neither at the nodal office. I hope my number is not blocked or - ignored and there is surely some sane and sensible person sitting at the other end reading this mail, whom I shall expect respond positively to this mail.I promise, if I don't get a connection by tomorrow, 25th November, as promised by Ms Sudha, I will be approaching the Consumer Court, this for sure. This is not an warning but a promise.I regret for choosing Reliance for Landline and Broadband connection.Kshitij.
 
Priyan i need some help.Im moving but i want to shift my Wimax connection before i move. i dont have documents containing address proof since everything is still in process. The rep who called me to confirm my cancellation said i can apply for shifting by providing ID proof and residence proof, but since i dont have the latter Is it possible to apply to shift the equipment using only photo id documents?The urgency of this cannot be understated.

Hi Sufi,

It is a TRAI requirement wherein you need to have residence proof.

So can't help you there,but once you get the residence proof it wouldn't be a difficult thing to do.
