Quite possible. When the phone was getting charged, the battery went from 60% to 100% instantly. Weird.

Switched back to Jellybean yesterday. Battery life on KitKat was pretty bad compared to this.

I think new Google camera is causing battery drain. Removed it and all seems fine. Lets see for a couple of days.

Well you can install watchdog. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.zomut.watchdoglite
It displays the name of the app which misbehaves i.e. uses high CPU.
