MTNL 3G Jadoo Experiences and Issues

I think the right FRC is 91rs. in Mumbai....which is a combo FRC....91 rs. talktime 250 MB free usage with it...and 250 free SMS...

Currently this SIM is given at just 25Rs.. as silver jubilee scheme!!

For 25Rs u get 91Rs talktime.(i.e.balance)
HSDPA pre-activated.
250 MB data every month for 3 months
250 SMS every month for 3 months
1500 seconds (25mins) of local calls every month for 3 months
1500 seconds (25mins) of video calls every month for 3 months

I just cant figure out how MTNL can afford this!

I have already got one card. But who cares, if this scheme stays after 2months, I will disconnect current one and get new one!

i think, i am having the same SIM you are referring to... :/25 rs. SIM.....Its a good scheme....(Obviously for us)..

yup speeds look like are getting capped in Delhi too on MTNL not going more than 1MBps...dwn speeds of 98KB/sec only...suxs!

^^ hmm no friends/relatives in Delhi trying for MTNL sim from one month not getting at all
No...its pretty much easy....If anyone is there in mumbai or delhi...just tell them to take a address proof of native place(should be of mumbai or delhi only) and also a personal identity....for personal identity.....License is good or UID will work.....
That's the only way you are gonna get one SIM for you...
Trust me...i also don't have anyone in delhi or mumbai.....i had to go for Friends of Friends to get a SIM.. :/

Even in MTNL roaming (bsnl) yes in non peak hours..like early morning 3 to 5 am...the speeds are awesome touching the max of 5 mbps.. and once after 7 or 8 am then it will hanging around 3 to 4 mbps....
Yea at peak hours..i get average about 4 and 4.5mbps... only..
and at say suppose late night..most probably after 11 pm...we get about 5mbps and more....

speeds r not going above 1MBps here but...in Delhi..MTNL should open up 7.2 MBps like BSNL did so there wont be these kind of speed issues then..

here in gurgaon day 1.2mbps and night (1am) 2.7mbps
