Don't forget Hayai Zone. Sharing on WAN is unlimited @ 1000mbps and MG has promised getting a local youtube cache, steam and few other bandwidth heavy websites on its Hayai Zone.

Hmm.. abt Hayai zone only time will tell how much speeds we get and if Hayai zone includes whole India (that too at 1Gbps is doubtful). Otherwise local zone wud not make much difference.

if network supports it then there is no problem with 1Gbps ... lets move on with MTNL now..

Dear O dear, I visited this thread after a long time today and was absolutely surprised on seeing those screenshots from onenessboy. Is he from Mumbai or Delhi?My speeds are pretty much constant at 2.2 mbps with no disconnections. I usually sit on the internet max for 2-2.5 hours at a stretch so don't come across any disconnections.

^^ No. Check your download sources or check your RAM for any problems first.Sometimes, downloads can get corrupted if there is a sudden disconnection. But still I never had any corruption problems in spite of having random disconnections using jDownloader.

My RAM is just fine

This only happens during evenings.. Also, the connection doesn't disconnect, only the download corrupts. Can you also try downloading a file (30-40 MB) and check it's MD5?
