Yup, cordless suffers interference when i am using full bandwidth and the handset unit is far from base unit. But i do not experience any loss of speed due to cordless 2.4 Ghz phone.
Everytime the handset is kept on the base unit the frequency changes slightly if I am not mistaken most phones have a large number of iterations for this change. An old cordless I had 65536 iterations.

I am on 5Ghz Wireless ac band. So no interference of any kind. I have disabled 2.4Ghz completely.
Some of my friends have never faced any problems but some had a horrendous experience to obviate all that crap I use a cordless which operates on 1.8GHz.
