It would seem so. File a complaint citing frequent disconnection. Meanwhile, switch to g.DMT only for stability.

Will do. But I ain't touching the router unless it decides to disconnect again. :laugh:

Hi guys,
I got TP-Link W8968 wirless modem today, i did all steps mentioned in installation guide/cd and socrates's blog but still not working for me.
after i did all connections and as soon as i connect ethernet cable from modem to my laptop i get message no internet access.
then even after completing quick setup from 192.168.1.1 in Wan connection i get connecting and it is never able to connect.
pppoe_0_32_2_d connecting...

The Wan interface just doesnt seem to connect. Appreciate if anyone can help?

Make sure
VPI = 0
VCI = 32
Encapsulation = LLC (1483 Bridged IP LLC)
ISP = PPPoA/PPPoE
Username = Telephone number followed by @a eg: 24224422@a
Password = CA Number shown on your telephone bill
These are the only 6 settings you need for ADSL connection.

yes i have done all the above steps, still no luck, wan interface shows connecting and no access to internet

my current setup ( sam300AX sterlite modem connected to Belkin G wirless router) works pefect. As soon as i connect TP-Link router and connect with either Ethernet or Wifi get NO access to internet. Where to specify DNS? not sure if that is what i am doing wrong?
