MTNL Broadband: 8mbps Plans

Hi Suhel,

Kindly, delete all the connections which you see in the WAN Settings...

1. Go to WAN Settings --> Click on Add


2. Once you click on ADD.. A New configuration page opens up.

VPI : 0

VCI : 32


Connection Type : PPOE

Enter all the credentials and don't change any other configuration as shown in the image.



3. Click on the Advance drop down option below the Wan Service Setup..



4.. The Last Step would be to Save the Configuration and Do a Reboot.

Hav u updated the Firmware........ maybe try tht.....
Also show the System Logs.... the PPP rows.......
yup thats the first thing i did when it wasnt working, will check system logs

here are the system logs, not sure what it means by "failed to authenticate ourselves to pee"r, its not the id@a and password for sure as its working with my old modem .

no luck same issue
did all things like you pointed out , removed all wan interfaces, created new without manual dns tick but pppoe doesnt seem to connect at all.

looks like i will have to call TP-Link support to check with them.

If that does not work then since everything seems ok but still not connecting then I suggest you do a factory reset & start from scratch, maybe something has missed our attention.

Maybe do the above & if that does not work then call TP. Could be a bum piece :(

yea already did factory reset twice didnt work, will call TP guys tomm, yea even i feel something related to h/w :russianroulette: :sad:

Suspected that in my above post hence that line. :( Pity to get a faulty piece.
 
if its faulty...... good thing u found out abt it so early....... so now u can just get a replacement frm the shop rather than RMA.....
