Internet was awful yesterday. No timeouts but horribly laggy.

I replied about the same problem here

you guys are lucky unlike me... perhaps its just temporary...

No timeouts for me..... But am on the old 59.x.x.x IP..... Ericsson system...

Multi floor setup. Cat5 from modem goes to different floors. One of them was damaged. How'd I know? The router on that floor was having spotty connectivity last night; and net had stopped completely by the time I was home. Hence, figured.

which plan are u on?
since 29th december we have dead telephone lines and everytim I call they have only one tape going we will do in couple of days. Cannot take it anymore as I am not able to do any office work, nothing from home. Might be caling up hathway to setup, tried pgportal and all things no use, mtnl leaves me no option.
