I believe so. Try changing it to Auto mode in your router. See if it makes any difference.

I have been using google DNS. Shifted to OpenDNS now, will check. Also exploring. DNSMasq option on dd-wrt.

Havnt faced any problems for last 2 days........ on ADSL.....
No timeouts today as well.....
VDSL tends to go down with even the slightest of problems.....

its the opposite in my case. vdsl line hasnt gone down even once in 2 months. once in a while i do get this dns problem same as adsl.

My net connection is smooth, no timeouts, but my speed is 512 Kbps to 1 mbps... thats the problem.
I got 50 GB data remaining in my FUP. Still... :numbness:
Nobody working also today...so can't complain either

After downgrading to the 2Mbos plan still getting timeouts. Pathetic. Will probably keep mtnl for another month as a backup to my hathway which is quite stable, and finally ditch it.

These new timeouts don't seem to be a function of speed anymore. They're on the server side it seems.

Did u chk which ISP's u hav in ur area?
