MTNL Broadband: Internet getting disconnected for 1 minute every few hours?

There is an improvement as of now. Usually the problems start by 9-9.30 in the morning. But I would not jump to the conclusion that its normal, if you ping your DNS server & start browsing or downloading the latency increases to 3 to 4 digits. Even this site is fast :D

SNR Margin: 33.5 35.5db
Line Attenuation: 30.6 18.5 db
Data Rate: 1159 253 kbps
CRC: 3 0

Anyone knows why my CRC is 3? It should be 0 na!

hi, yea but i tried to see if mtnl was working today and it is...so i'm using that only as of now to see how long it remains OK..did u call up the DGM?

you are right about DNS becoming 3-4 digits (screenshot below)...what does it imply though?

Today much better results, just restarted my modem and everything is fine.

Will test the whole day today !

Does static IP remove the disconnection every 6 hours ?

I read somewhere that it does NOT remove the disconnection every 6 hours.
