MTNL Broadband is injecting ads on your computer pretending it's a feature

Ok so now I get it. I dont see it as my plan does not have any FUP!

Had disabled it a while ago. Here's what I've been getting:

Since I haven't crossed FUP yet, it isn't able to fetch the data. Idiots.

Will re-enable block and see what happens.

Lodged a complaint today about disconnections & was promptly attended to, DC has stopped but line stats are S***. Linesmen promised that they would report what I showed them on my PC & told all the details to the person who called from the SDE’s office later in the day. If there is no improvement then an email to the ED is in the offing where I will mention this crap of their spamming pop ups on the 2nd of the month

Yup. Still getting you have crossed FUP banner. I also get "Get a static IP" banner and I am already on static IP.

This is pure unadulterated SPAM.

I hope that DGM too gets bitten in his arse by these messages on his office wifi and those f*****s get back to their senses.

The problem is, if I re-enable IP blocking at router level, websites load blank page on first attempt. I have to refresh almost each page twice.

Today I saw Micromax ad

At least in my case, they call on landline to verify complaint. I'm hardly at home. So, its of no use :(

Its getting beyond ridiculous. I am getting ADs in Amazon, snapdeal, myntra and flipkart apps as well. Its impossible to get rid of these ads and its rendering app screen untouchable, now i have to close app and restart it again to browse something on mobile phone.

Is any one reading this from MTNL? You morons !

Please excuse my language, I am very frustrated from MTNL ads, this is not why I pay them Rs. 1250/- every month. I am considering switching away from MTNL. Who ever made this decision will end up costing huge revenue losses to MTNL.

Edit: Does any one know, if airtel or spectranet is doing this to their customers in Mumbai? I want to know because both options are available in my building.
