MTNL (General) MTNL to upgrade broadband speed

Suppose my plan is 999 unlimited(1mbps plan)
Here i will get 2mbps upto 6 gb.
After 6gb it will revert to default speed (1mbps for me)
Damn what the heck is this. I am using 768 unlimited plan, so only 3GB/2mbps for me and then again lazy as sloth. I was thinking they will keep the data usage unlimited but increase the speed.
I am done with this MTNL crap. Sadly we just cannot remove MTNL connection as it is being used in our Business contacts since last 18 years.
Also, i am glad that the "ANI Broadband Services" is getting successful in my area to pull down all MTNL & Airtel broadband connections, with their good services. They are pretty good with kickass plans & customer support.
Haha, so THIS is why my download speed is suddenly 260 Kbps from my usual 130Kbps.
I thought this was some kind of glitch. Back in Pacenet days here in Delhi years ago, those bastards would every now and then fuck up and I would end up with download speed into over 900Kbps. These people artificially throttle speeds while charging us so much.
Anyways, kudos to MTNL. Free upgrade, speed doubled, downloads going faster. I would be happier with even faster speeds, but you can't have everything..
EDIT: Also, I have downloaded more than 7 GB since 12 am., no download limit so far since my speed is still 2 Mbps.

Happy hours of 2mbps over within 2 hrs.
Mtnl the shit Isp, others are providing atleast 10gb but mtnl is giving 1 gb.

But I would say "others are providing 500GB of FUP" in a few extra bucks with a decent speed.

Looks like I reached their download limit. I am pretty sure I downloaded close to 10GB since 12 AM yesterday before the 2MBps limit was reached. Maybe it was some kind of error or maybe I only downloaded 6 GB.. not sure.
Well shit. Back to my 1 Mbps until next month.
Maybe with Modi's Digital India thing we will finally get some new ISPs pushing for faster net.
