hoo haa. democratic india. my ass.[/b]
Ahh.. more moral policing from our politicians to keep us safe from unsavory influences, what more could we ask for from our wonderful leaders.
Wait a minute... what about pricing limits on DTH channels like there is on CAS, how about enforcing interoperability between DTH vendors and allowing third party STBs, ensuring the consumer gets a good quality telecast and paving the way for HD transmissions?
If the consumers need protection, its from pricing and bad quality of service not a TV show about sexy advertisements.
exactly. they waste time on pathetic things. the funny thing is that the show was telecasted after 11 pm. if kids see television past that time, its a problem for the parents not the government.
u can definitely go to court and demand whatever you want. the courts would listen to your point of view and give their ruling. just find out a good enough reason to demand what you want to demand. sex education? eh. just might work.
HaHa, sex education.... lol, i remember the days back in school in the biolgy class, when we were all on the floor laughing.....the teacher was teaching us the chapter about the human anatomy... hehe, sex organs
Though this ban on AXN is nothing short of laughable i'm sure the government will come out with some sort of window period when adult content can be shown. They say the ban on AXN was due to that sexiest commercials program but i can tell you AXN show a lot of naughty stuff in other serials. CSI is just one example. I'm sure these things will be addressed in the broadcast bill but you people need to have patience.
with politicians like ours, u can only hope for sane laws.vijay anand was cool. he wanted to legalise porn in movies. the fact remains. people choose what they want to see. if its coming on tv or its coming on theatres. we are smart enough to decide.
