Nokia made blunder by launching before iphone5 ...They could have easily compared their phone with iPhone 5 if launched after iPhone 5 ..Also no info abt release date, price, wp8 availability etc didn't helped .. This is something they should learn and copy from Apple .. and there is no risk of patent infringement if they copy tht Iphone 5 is inferior to 920 in almost every respect .. So nokia did lost an opportunity ..
Nokia messed up a lot of things at the announcement event. windows phone 8 was not ready. microsoft wanted to keep the good stuff for their own launch event in october. nokia should have avoided announcing the two new models till november. they just showed the competition what they have. i mean companies like samsung are capable enough to launch new models so fast, that they are just going to beat nokia with better windows phone 8 models by the time nokia is ready to launch them in the market.btw. i think nokia is scheduled for another media event this week or next. and another new model could be announced.they also need to stop inviting microsoft people to their own events. they come and take over their own presentations. nokia is losing its identity. being overshadowed by the windows phone 8 team. steve ballmer came and elop stood in the background just like a butler would stand behind his boss. does not look good for the company that well still is the world's largest mobile phone company.
i am probably wrong but i did read some blog posts about a second event in the mid of september. maybe i got confused. motorola of course is scheduled to launch an intel processor powered android device this week.
Nokia has revealed that its Windows Phone 8 flagship will arrive in Europe priced at 649 euros ($836), while the Lumia 820 will arrive several hundred euros cheaper at 499 euros ($643). Both will arrive in Italy and Germany some time in November, although the company weren't pointing to any specific launch date just yet.
dude. Galaxy note 2 is priced at USD 750 in india errm. i mean yeah, they look pretty high but then Nokia still has a decent reputation in europe. india is a totally different matter.
